Nurture Your Relationship with God
Music Ministry
Liberating, Unadulterated, True Praise
The prolific writer of the book of Psalms, King David, made many references to singing unto the Lord. Psalms 150 instructs us to praise him upon the cymbals, trumpet, psaltery, harp, stringed instruments and organ. David goes on to tell us that if we have breath, we should praise the Lord. In other words, he is saying, use everything you have at your disposal to give praise to the Lord, even if it is just your voice.
We here at the Northside wholeheartedly concur with David. We know what God has done and continues to do in our lives and we cant help but praise Him for it! If you have never experienced a Pentecostal worship service, we invite you to come join us and taste the goodness of God for yourself.
Sunday School Ministry
Train Up A Child
Everybody ought to go to Sunday School! A loving and inviting atmosphere has been specifically designed to nurture our children, and to assist parents in leading them in the way they should go. This happens through lessons drawn directly from the Word of God, through promotions and contests, through holiday musicals, and through excitement, love, and prayerful leadership. Church is presented as a fun, interesting, warm environment in which to grow and learn about Jesus. We offer classes for all age groups taught by compassionate teachers with a burden for children.
Youth Ministry
Geared Towards Urban Youth
Our mission is to motivate youth in Chicago into a deeper spiritual commitment, to be a powerhouse of prayer and disciple others as we follow Christ. God is truly the center of our lives and we want to encourage other youth in Chicago to allow Him to be the center of their lives.
Early Morning Prayer
The Nautical Hour
We greet each new day with prayer. As early as 5:30 in the morning, many of our people open a conference call and begin their days with prayer. There is no subject that is off limits. We invite you to join our early morning prayer line. If you have a need you would like our prayer line to address on your behalf, we invite you to speak to our pastors.
